Inventory Management System

 Project Description

Freedom bookshop is bookshop owned by Freedom Assembly Church, Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria.

SilverConnect Limited developed this Inventory Management System, designed to record sales of books and other accessories and give daily, monthly and yearly reports.

The inventory management system ensures that all accessories and stationeries are accurately accounted for, helping to bring loss of items to a minimum. The inventory management system is also connected to a POS and heat printer machine.

The application is written completely in Java. It uses an embedded derby database to store records. Financial summary are exported to Microsoft excel, before printing.
